PRISP Competition Kettlebells
The PRISP Competition Kettlebell Weights are ideal for anyone looking to add versatile, professional-grade kettlebells to their home gym equipment.
Competition kettlebells, also known as “Pro Grade” or “Sport” kettlebells are all the same size regardless of their weight. This provides the user with a consistent training experience as the kettlebells will always be in the same position when in hand or on the floor, no matter the weight of the kettlebell used. Their wide and flat bases are also uniform across all weights making competition kettlebells more stable and safer for floor exercises than traditional kettlebells, for which the size of the base varies with their weight.
The handles of competition kettlebells are also all uniform in size and have a smaller diameter than traditional kettlebells. The smaller handle size helps reduce grip fatigue, especially with high-repetition exercises, but can make exercises that require both hands more difficult to perform, especially for users with wide hands. The handles are made of steel, which is more porous than cast iron and will therefore absorb more chalk to provide a better, smoother grip.
